Working with aspirational leaders, high performers, and those who are keen to push the boundaries of the status quo…well…that’s kinda what Ali gets out of bed for.
ABOUT ALI HILL
As a professional ‘head-mechanic’ (Psychologist) Ali has worked with 'em all. She is co-founder of 3 times AFR Fast 100 company, Pragmatic Thinking; a behaviour and motivation strategy company.
Award Educator of the Year in 2018, Telstra Business Woman QLD nominee, and winner of Gold Coast City Council Innovation award, Ali does work that gets recognised.
Ali is author of three best-selling business books, 'Stand Out’, and co-author of 'Dealing with the Tough Stuff’ & ‘Work From Anywhere’.
Her work has found its way inside a few big businesses you might have heard of… PepsiCo, Siemens, Amazon Web Services, Heritage Bank, Virgin Australia, BDO, oOh Media, and Laminex just to name a few.
Ali presents her unique and authentic message as a sought after keynote speaker, where she engages her audience with humour, practicality and real-world thinking.
Since 2016 she has hosted and produced one of Australia’s leading podcasts, Stand Out Life. An exceptional interviewer, Ali dives into what it takes to live boldly amongst the busy with incredibly talented people, including Osher Gunsberg, James Clear, Gretchen Rubin, Trent Dalton, Sarah WIlson, and Kate Cebrano.
In her spare time she turns her hand to cooking and knitting, neither of these very successfully. So Ali decided to keep focusing on what she does best - supporting people through the tough conversations and transitions at work. It does mean there will be no home-baked goods or a knitting corner in any program she delivers…sorry if this is a deal-breaker.

‘So much great advice and practical tools for our leaders to take away with them; wrapped up in great energy leaving the room buzzing’.
- Peter O’Sullivan, Chief People Officer at BDO
